Scott J. Simon, PhD (University of North Texas) is a classical guitarist and music technologist based in Austin, Texas.
His interdisciplinary path weaves deep musical expression—rooted in classical guitar, jazz improvisation, and contemporary styles. Performances have spanned intimate settings to prestigious stages, blending sophistication, warmth, and nuanced tone for unforgettable ambiance.
Currently offering limited private lessons (select spots only), Scott teaches sight-reading, technique, theory, vocabulary, and repertoire, tailored to each student's goals.
With a passion for mentoring and sharing the joy of musical discovery, he brings the same thoughtful insight and care to music education as he does to performance and scholarship.
